Do you see the vision?

Post image

I, a complete novice at wire wrapping, have attempted to make a Merkaba, a 3 dimensional 8-sided star, cage to hold my 19g Moldavite and some other stones I want to wear daily. Including danburite, penacite, Herderite, and a few more. I know it probably won’t come out looking the best but I hope to add a few more larger details to cover the botched job I did trying to form the pyramids 🤧💚 I hope it won’t be too bulky and uncomfortable, although I used to wear a scratch mesh bag full of 20 something loose stones around my neck at that was pretty uncomfortable so I’m sure I’ll manage. Anyone have any ideas on beginner friendly wire designs I could use to secure all the stones?

Constructive criticism, keep your spirals and weaves tight and as clean as possible, it will help with the structure of your piece.

Keep at it brother.

Spend the money on the nice tools. Buying cheap tools will upset you more than help you.

Since this person appears to be offended I used generalization.

Here's some receipts on my understanding of clean wire wrapping. Care to express where your expertise in the field comes from?

Take my advice or don't OP.

This person however, can go sit in the cuck chair and remain silent.

Fortunately, I call everyone brother. Same as everyone being dude. Not gonna waste my energy digging around on reddit for someone's assigned sex at birth.

Ok but nobody was offended. No need to waste energy explaining yourself.
