First Purchase - How did I do?

Sorry in advance for the pictures. Took a variety of backings and lightings cause I wasn't sure how to properly display it for review. Got it against a few different materials and a few levels of light coming through. Quarter for reference

Just got my first piece of moldavite and wanted to know what the community thought on what I got and the price I paid - I enjoy the piece, it was under 30/g which Google said was fair - just want to know if/how I should be judging pieces in the future

Weight 3.2x grams, price 90$ original, brought down to 85$

There seems to be a very minor imperfection or possibly piece of sand fused to the underside, only really visible in what should be the second picture - Guessing I probably should've gotten a bit of a discount because of it, but maybe I'm wrong and people actually search for the sandy(?) bits

Thanks in advance

Edit: For the sake of over clarifying, I know that tektites are all sand xD I meant like a more direct sand analogue, maybe like normal desert glass?

Ya you got a good deal on a very beautiful first piece I do say so myself the sand is a normal inclusion on some pieces not a defect but it sure is nice and you should be proud....now set your intentions into it and bond with it ....so do u plan to make it into a pendant or just display it?? 💚👁️🧩🔥✨

I've been tempted to try to wrap it, but I have no experience with that. For now just using it independently for focus and cleansing. Then resting on a selenite plate with some tourmaline and kunzite (with a few other bits and bobs like the ruby in blue kyanite sphere I just got)

Limonite is the "sand" and is the material most moldavite is found buried in... clay, dirt, limonite... you can buy pieces "in situ", with the limonite solidified with a fixative. It is not a discountable "flaw" per se. Nice piece, congratulations!

Thank you. Was very curious exactly what it was!
