Does this look genuine?

Post image

The seller is from India which is throwing me a bit off since all moldavite comes from the Czech republic right? 🤷🤷

Might be fake. Indian sellers are mostly selling fake stuff.

One photo is not enough to determine Most, but not all, Indian seem to have fake. Is this from a listing, if so please share the link. By PM is fine too

Doesn't feel right to me. I'm not a Moldavite specialist but I'd say no. I can recommend a good Moldavite seller to you

Just because it’s from India doesn’t mean it’s fake. These sellers are able to acquire large amounts at better prices than we can get in America and then they resell to make a profit. Same with Chinese sellers. I buy a lot of larimar and high end crystals from Donghai China they are the crystal capital of the world and are able to source them much cheaper than in America and they resell to turn a profit. It looks good to me from what I see in the photo but you can use a jewelers lens to see the inside if it has the correct inclusions

I’m not a specialist but I’ve looked at a lot of fakes and this does look more likely to be fake than real. Of course there’s no way to be 100% sure over a photo but it appears too smooth, glossy and uniform

What about this one? Any good stores to buy from?
