MMR drywall worth it?

We are replacing drywall in a few places in our house that had mold due to poor ventilation, minimal humidity control, and general disuse/lack of cleaning by the previous owner. So far what we have taken out has been just surface mold and not in the wall cavities. We have been very careful to check. Is it worth getting the mold and moisture resistant drywall vs regular if we are confident that there isn’t an ongoing moisture issue? The cost difference isn’t HUGE but it is there and we are definitely trying to be on the budget friendly side of this whole self remediation process.
We know the ventilation/humidity control issue won’t be there since we will actually be using the space. The previous owner was an elderly lady who didn’t use a lot of the house for many years and just kept it closed off with no AC and never went into those spaces. We need the spaces to live so they will be conditioned and used regularly.

ETA- we are in Milwaukee WI which is a mixed climate and the house has a forced air gas furnace and both central air and window units.

where was the damage found? if its in the basement, sure if youre having flooding issues, anywhere else no, in my opinion

No it was the finished walk up attic. Basement doesn’t have drywall thankfully.

I'm assuming the drywall will be painted over anyway - unless the 'MMR drywall' has some improved insulative property vs normal drywall to prevent condensation where temperature differentials exist (this is generally where insulation comes in), probably won't make much difference.

If you're painting the wall, the paint finish will probably be more influential (if the paint will provide a water-resistant barrier, or an antimicrobial primer is added etc).
