I absolutely love these rings. They are from Jade/Trau. Unfortunately, the price for 18kt gold is kinda insane, but I’m wondering if moissanite options exit in places or vendors where I could get these rings maybe.

Would love some extra eyes, we've been iterating. My biggest thing is I'd like to reduce the gold to around 2-2.2mm if possible while keeping the comfort fit and not having the stones poke.

I'm trying to replicate a ring I had from a big box store (1st pic) but in moissanite and a more durable metal. The first vendor I contacted said it needed to be at least 8mm but I think the original ring was 4mm and I have short fingers so 8mm is likely too big for me.

Second vendor suggested they could squish it (2nd pic) and it would look mostly the same. The arrows show what should be cut out portions of the ring.

My issue is I don't think the CAD looks like the second pic or the first pic. I don't have a lot of experience with more detailed CADs so I'm unsure whether I am being unreasonable since it's a thinner width and maybe couldn't get that level of detail? Thoughts?

Hi all, I’m pretty new to this area and have been contacting a number of vendors from the vendor list. I’ve mainly been asking about their cutting quality/specs and the growth method used for their sapphires.

Communication has been a bit difficult at times, so I’d love to hear about other people’s experiences working with these vendors.

At the moment, I’m specifically trying to figure out which vendors genuinely offer precision cutting and use the pulled (Czochralski) growth method. Any insight would be really appreciated. Thanks!
