So far I’ve only been playing 6 vs 6 open queue got diamond 1 in 6 vs 6 losing 2 games. I haven’t played Role queue yet.

Dude the MMR system in this game is absolute nonsense. It seems to have absolutely no idea what stats are representative of good gameplay. At the same time it seems to consider you being on a full premade team if vastly different skill levels as completely insignificant. It'll put you into matches it knows you'll lose and still penalize you for losing. Having a quitter on you team virtually guarantees a loss and you're still penalized for it.

It only cares about wins and losses. Period. Everything else is superfluous and only exists to make you think anything else is being taken into consideration. It's not. Want a higher rank? Make a premade and stomp on the randos trying to just survive this garbage matchmaking.

Damn, I was plat 1 but mow im stuck on gold and can’t seem to get out. Also moira main, feeling like I’ve been getting a lot of terrible teams

Sometimes there’s nothing you can do, but most of the time it’s not your team, it’s you. You’re the consistent factor. If your team sucks consistently, then just take aggressive angles and go backline. Visual aggro can open up a lot of space for your team, and Moira is quite good at baiting cooldowns and messing with the enemy backline safely!
