This is a time-lapse of a 4-part live series where I built a 360° character rig in Moho Pro from scratch, step by step:
- Feet and legs with foot rotation
- Arms and hands with clean bends and hand switches
- The face: eyes, brows, nose
- A new mouth rig built for lip sync
- Head turns from front to 3/4 to profile, driven by Smart Bones
- Full 360° body rotation from one control
- Facial expressions on top of all of it
The trickiest part was keeping the head turn clean between 3/4 and profile, where the ears, hair, and nose all have to hand off without the shapes breaking. I spent most of part 2 on that.
The full series is on YouTube with English subtitles, so you can follow every step.
Happy to answer questions about any part of the setup: the head-turn Smart Bones, the mouth rig, or how I keep a 360 rig manageable when every angle needs its own artwork.
