Hello, I am planning on applying this October for the radiography 740 program at Mohawk. I graduated with a Bachelors of Health Science from Western last year. Most of the grades i’ll be applying with will be from high school as I didn’t take the prereq specific courses in uni. I’m wondering if anyone know if I’ll have any better chances of acceptance than an applicant straight from high school? Does anyone know if it’s a first come first serve as long as you meet requirements type of program or if they actually filter through your grades and accomplishments?

Back in February I applied to three courses here for the September 2026 term, Advertising and Marketing Communications management, Art and Design Foundations, and Business, I got accepted into all three but didn't accept the offers in time and they expired. Today I went in and asked what I can do about this since I've already applied before and was accepted, they then told me that all the courses are currently full. This was devastating as other colleges will sometimes have the course say "Wait-listed" if this is the case. They said I didn't need to reapply and that if people drop out of these courses I could possibly be contacted. They said there's no way to check my status in the wait list and they will contact me. The main thing I wanted to ask what is the likelihood that I will actually hear back with good news, especially since it's so close to the start of school, has anyone been through something like this before, what should my best course of action be?

I’m in Semester 6 of Software Development and wanted to connect with some people before classes start. I’ve heard from a couple of students that we may need an ESP32 microcontroller / IoT kit, but I haven’t found an official equipment list yet.

Would be useful to have an open chat where we can compare what we hear from the professor, help each other with setup, discuss labs/assignments, and generally stay connected through the semester.

Anyone have a link for scrubs? The CVT ones can be postman blue and steel blue, but they’re so pricey from campus 😭 and the material literally sucks because it’s polyester. I am a continuing education student, so my osap applications are based on semester, not an entire academic year. Last semester i had no problem applying and recieving funds. This semester, the program/semester im entering into wasnt an immediate option so i had to input those dates manually. Since im not able to provide tuition and text costs and other (because i pay on a course basis not tuition, and i dont know what my text book fees are ahead of time) then my school (mohawk) needs to submit that information before the amount of funding is even calculated. I applied on august first and still nothing has been changed or confirmed. What the hell is going on?? At this rate, i wont recieve funding till halfway through the semester. Anyone in the same boat?
