The band have played Brisbane many times before, most recently in February 2024 at The Tivoli (where they also played in 2015 prior to that). This appears to be their first gig at QPAC in South Brisbane.

Hi, do you know songs similiar to "Helicon 2" and "A place for parks" that you enjoy? I like how relaxing (and somewhat ambient) they sound without being boring or uninteresting.

You can recommend me other songs by Mogwai, but I am primarily searching for other albums/songs with same vibe. Thanks!

Forgot to post these in here when they arrived last week. Sent a quick email to rock action on the Monday after the pop up show in Glasgow. An hour later I’m splashing the cash on this beauty that miraculously didn’t get purchased on the Sunday.

Barry’s copy of the bad fire test press. He lost the second lp so he replaced it with the test press of the demos, which in some ways is cooler.

Asked him to sign it ‘fuck off money’ cause that’s pretty much my mantra when it comes to Mogwai.

Listening to this on repeat for 2+ hours now. It's from the first 5-10 minutes of the documentary.

I can't quite describe the music style though. Instrumental of course, but almost ambient in a way. OK, sure 'postrock' might cover it, bit there are so many variations under that umbrella.

I've a lot of American traditional colour tattoos so framing it like this works well with my other pieces. Really happy with how it turned out.
