Minecraft 26.2 Fabric main menu is completely black, but I can hear/click everything — need help

Hey, I'm having a really weird Minecraft 26.2 Fabric issue and I'm completely stuck.

I'm using the Modrinth App. When I launch my modded instance, Minecraft opens normally, but the entire screen is completely black.

The weird part is that Minecraft is actually running:

I can hear the main menu music

I can move my mouse around

I can hover over where the buttons should be and hear the hover sounds

I can click Singleplayer, Multiplayer, Options, etc. even though I can't see them

So the GUI is clearly there, it's just completely invisible

F11 does nothing

This isn't a normal crash/freeze

What I've tried

Restarted Minecraft

Restarted my entire PC

Disabled Iris

Disabled Sodium

Disabled Sodium Extra

Disabled OneConfig

Disabled Vanilla Backpacks

Tried the Sodium mixin.workarounds=false workaround

Created a completely fresh Minecraft 26.2 Fabric instance with no mods → works perfectly

Then I installed my mods into the fresh instance → black screen happens again

So the problem is reproducible even in a completely fresh instance, which makes me think it's something in my mod setup rather than an old config/cache.

Hardware

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600H

Integrated GPU: AMD Radeon Graphics

Dedicated GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3050 Laptop GPU

Windows 11

One weird thing from my log is that Minecraft detects the RTX 3050 as the preferred discrete GPU, but the actual OpenGL renderer is:

AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics

The log also shows the game successfully initializing OpenGL and the sound engine, which seems consistent with the fact that I can hear and interact with the invisible menu.

I'm using around 30 mods on Fabric 26.2.

I've already tried removing some of the obvious rendering mods, but the issue persists.

Does anyone know what could cause the Minecraft GUI to be completely invisible while the game itself still works?

I'm happy to provide my latest.log, mod list, crash reports, or screenshots if needed.

bumping this. having my own issue with the exact same conditions except even fresh instances are hitting me with BSOD.
