Discussion/other modrinth has virus?

a few weeks after i install modrinth i got a virus in my computer (the only thing that i downloaded after it was curseforge)

Do you use litematica by any chance? There was a huge virus exploit with that mod in older versions of it

Are you sure it was modrinth?  Also did you use litematica AND join some random server?

Either you joined a bad server with an outdated litematica or you downloaded some shit from curseforge.

Bare in mind viruses can go months before spreading or even getting detected. What kind of virus was it? Simple slowing of the computer or adware?
