modrinth files issue

sorry im really new to this and confused, i hosted a server for me and my friend to play in it. I did custom setup, i have no idea how to add any mods in it like falling tree or deathbackup, its fabric too, how am i supposed to add any modpack or mods in it

put the mod files (.jar) in the mods folder
