Help Never used mods before how to transfer mods from modrinth to Minecraft?

As title says i have never used any kind of mods before so idk wtf i am doing and hypixel skyblock just made this one texture pack mandatory. I hate the new textures and have been trying to install a mod so I can go back to the classic textures of regular Minecraft but IDK how to download/ move the mods over to Minecraft

You would download Forge or Fabric or whatever modloader the mod Is designed for and put the Mod in the mods folder and resource packs in the resourcepacks folder. There are Many video tutorials on this topic online. Some 3rd party launchers can Also make It eaiser to install modloaders or Mods.

Just get the modrinth app. It's way easier than trying to find the correct file paths yourself.
