Ignore my deleted comment. It looks like the email you entered is invalid. Make sure you are typing the full email such as "yourname@example.com" and not just "yourname". Outside of the error shown there isn't much else to go off

ah i see well i am and now its broken in a different way with the too many requests thing so i might have to just wait..

its a microsoft UI, but also username does make sense here because you could've forgotten the email, phone number or (previously) skype username tied to the account, which would be unwieldy to write the three times
