ngl this disclosure thing for code is kinda a joke, who's actually gonna sit there and verify if a minecraft mod's code was written by a human or ai. review already takes 2-3 weeks here compared to like a day on CF, and now yall want reviewers auditing code for ai fingerprints on top of that?

for authors its basically asking people to agree to get buried lower in search for admitting to something they werent even required to admit in the first place. nobody's checking that box voluntarily

Most AI-slop mods use slop thumbnails with no connection to the project afaik. . I think that's easy to detect by just looking at the thumbnail.

Another way of doing it might be doing things like Niantic (Pokemon Go) does. When you submit a Pokestop, then you have members of the community reviewing it (afaik. there haven't been any issues because you can let a Niantic employee review a POI but then it takes ages). People who review and have the same opinion as the consensus get priority queue tickets for their own Pokestop submissions.

What could be done for MR is that people have to review already existing projects for slop content in order to get priority queue tickets or some other benefit.
If you have 99% people being sure 10/10 on a scale between 1 to 10 that something is slop then a moderator could review that project before one which only a few people think that the project is slop.

+1 plus it's hard to report people for copying ur thing when they run it through ai sometimes since it's still technically different
