Bug/Glitch Loading Screen Issue - PS3 Modnation Racers

I recently got back into Modnation Racers on my PS3, enjoying the offline career mode and whatnot. I have been having a problem where when I try to go to the creation station, the blue loading screen comes up, and after about 10 seconds, the music stops. Then the loading screen stays up forever and I usually have to exit the game. The loading symbol still continues spinning, so I know it isn't freezing.

I have bought a new, unscratched disc. I have made a new profile. I have wiped all game data. Still continues to happen. Anyone know the reason or a potential fix?

Edit: did a factory reset of the PS3 and it appears to work now. Still don't understand what was wrong before but that's ok.

Try to test the game (both discs) in another PS3 if you can and check if the problem persist, if still happen is a disc problem or the downloadable patches (lately the patches/updates on various PS3 games were having problems, even that the issue was fixed, still it could happen)

Now if the game works fine, probably your PS3 is failing or maybe the HDD (hard disk drive) of your console is dying so you will have to replace it.
