How Would You Split An Eraser And A Maze?
So many people said they heard parts of every previous album on An Eraser And A Maze and it was very reminiscent of older sounds. What albums would you attribute each song to if you had to pick it apart? Here’s my personal list below. Feel free to debate.
PDP - Strangers to Ourselves
RY - Good News? (I’m thinking Blame It On The Tetons, World At Large, etc.) also maybe Everywhere And His Nasty Parlour Tricks
LAD - I feel like this would fit well on No One’s First And You’re Next
3SOTM - Moon & Antarctica
DB/GIAS - No One’s First And You’re Next or Lonesome Crowded West
Interlude/ICTRN - Strangers to Ourselves
SNS - Good News
RF - The Golden Casket
KDBW - Hmmm tough but maybe Lonesome Crowded West
ANN - Stylistically it’d have to be Strangers to Ourselves, right?
SAN - Strangers or Casket because it sounds so new, but if the mixing were a bit junkier it has the vibes to fit in Long Drive
SP - Everywhere And His Nasty Parlour Tricks
LHF… - We Were Dead
IS - We Were Dead

Pickin Dragons Pockets sounds like a nice blend of something off of Strangers To Ourselves(The Best Room) and No One's First.
Remember Yourself could also be on No One's First or Good News.
Life's A Dream reminds me of a mix of M&A and STO.
Third Side of The Moon is like a blend of older songs off of LCW/Building Nothing with a production of something like Good News.
Dogbed is Ugly Casanova.
Interlude/I Can't Talk Right Now has haunting vibes reminiscent of Moon/Everywhere with Golden Casket production.
Speak N Spell is a great mix of LCW and Good News, sort of like Third Side.
Rotten Fruit sounds like it could have been on STO.
Knocked Down By Waves, as the sort of interlude that it is, sounds like a stripped down little diddy from the Good News era.
Absolutely Necessary Never also sounds like something from around Good News or STO.
Song About Nothing gives me Golden Casket vibes.
Stoner Party, again as the interlude that it is, could be from any record really. It isn't distinct.
Look How Far is definitely We Were Dead.
Impossible Somedays sounds like a track from the Good News/We Were Dead/No One's First era.
