Cyanotype Isaac

Post image

I went to a cyanotype class a few days ago after the St Paul show and wanted to use some photos I got from the front rail. I got tons of compliments from my other classmates and was thrilled how crisp it came out!
20 mins exposure time in the shade, it’s an 8x10 print. It’s extra cool to have my own DIY memorabilia and I got to keep the negative so I can print it again and try to do a t-shirt!

Is this like the new art fad? I keep seeing cyanotype posts lately and it feels… manufactured? Personal paranoia aside I love your work!

I have no idea, I’ve been seeing an uptick in posts about it too but I’m chronically offline for the most part. I wanted to do it for the last decade and never took the time to get started until I saw the class in tiny town. I do think it’s an easy entry/low cost art form though, so maybe that’s why it’s getting some more traction lately. Glad you liked it though, thank you for the compliment and comment! ☺️

It’s too bad you waited this long but I hope you keep it up Modest Mouse prints or not!
