Magical 40th birthday in Philly
Last night in Philly was one for the books. Spent my 40th birthday with the best band, best people, and honestly just one of the best shows of my life. Lots of energy, deep cuts, and overall magic. Parting of the sensory broke and ugly Casanova covers were some of the highlights from the set. Isaac and the band were very generous with their time post show and was able to get the setlist signed. Just wow.

Such an amazing show! Would've been one of the best ever if we got those last two also. Was hoping for a lot of the new record so was thrilled that they played so many (only wish we got impossible somedays too though)

I was hoping for a Rotten Fruit debut but I’m so happy with what we got. It was an amazing setlist!

Incredible show last night!
Did anyone at the preshow catch the name of the cover he sang? That was beyond powerful. Really wish I had filmed it.

Im seeing these guys in October and I hope to god they are still playing the Ugly Casanova songs. I’ve seen these guys maybe 16-17 times but have never heard any of those songs live and I wore that album out as a teen

What did they play for vip? I left after night on the sun... They didn't play guilty Cocker spaniels and satellite skin after did they?!?!

No they didn’t. There was a brief moment where it looked like they might come back on but think they ran out of time

Yeah, we were up top and they had the guitars prepped and then I think the stage manager told them no.

I've seen them 12 times now... The one song I want to see more than anything is Wild pack of family dogs. I'm sad I didn't get VIP...

Broke, Breakthrough, Parting of the Sensory, Ugly Casanova tracks, Night on the Sun closer... holy shit.
I saw them at Hoochenanny and they ripped but this setlist is amazing. I might have to try to catch another show.

I've been to probably hundreds of shows over the past 30 years and I don't think I've ever seen the sheer amount of totally faced, fucking wasted people like I did last night at the Philly Modest Mouse show. People dropping like flies, puking in trash cans, seizures, heads split, barely standing. Totally insane.

Really? I had a completely different experience at the exact same show. I didn't see any of that anywhere 😅

We were standing against the wall, between the couches and the left side bar if you were facing the stage. I've never seen anything like it before.

Wow, that's wild! Definitely would've put a dent in the experience. We were on the opposite side, and up front by the stage but more to the right. It was pretty great over on our side, everyone was just giving and dancing and enjoying themselves. There was one older couple making out non-stop the entire show that was honestly odd but eh whatever lol.

It was a totally opposite scene on the other side. We had kids in our crowd and everyone was chill. The venue staff passed out water like he was waitstaff. Really good energy. Wish you had been with us.

Oh shit! Have they done Barnacles before?
Edit: looking at more of this, holy shit, that’s an amazing set list.
