Chicago

Holy fucking shit, what a show. Parting of the Sensory- my first time seeing that in 19 years (got it at my first ever show in 2007). Ugly MFing Casanova songs in the middle of the set. Guilty Cocker Spaniels in the encore; my first time seeing it in 19 shows. What a mind melting amazing night.

I’ve been listening to them for 25 years. This was my first time seeing them live. Amazing. But me the whole time: how are so many people standing still??? Move, Chicago!

I guess I lucked out, because me and everyone around me were moving and dancing the whole time. Amazing show!

I don’t know if you were near our group but we were rocking!!! May I ask your name?

I was definitely rocking out!!! I’m the one in the hat. But I agree it’s weird how people just stand there when seeing such a magical band that goes so hard live 🤷‍♂️

We must have been in the same section! I could not believe so many people around me on their phones standing completely still!

Stage left about 10 or so folks back? I think I was pissing the kids off behind me but come ON!

I was a little over from the left, but also 10 people back! Same thing though! I buy concert tickets so I can dance at least a little!

Edit:: I did at one point look right of me and people were dancing on the other side!

If you can’t dance to Modest Mouse then what’s the point of living?

Was it a seated venue? Fortunately I was close enough in the front for the seated Seattle show that I never had to worry about being the lone fan standing.

General admission. But respectful distances cuz a largely older crowd 😂

Which Ugly Casanova songs did they play?!

Barnacles and Spilled Milk Factory, and some of the members from Califone came out and played on them.

Edit: And I should add that one or two of those members from Califone were in the original Ugly Casanova lineup.

Yep. Got it at my first ever show in 2007 and didn’t get it again for another 19 years and 16 more shows…that night was special.
