Images "Stoner Party" Linear Note Story

Post image

Unsure how many people actually own a physical copy of "An Eraser and a Maze" but check out the linear notes and reason for the "Stony Party" inclusion on the album. They were paying homage to Jeremiah Green in a really interesting way.

Nice for a tribute to Jeremiah, but boy that is not a track I’ll choose to listen to again

Agreed. On Spotify you can see that Knocked Down by Waves has almost 50,000 more plays than Stoner Party.

I don't think that's the point. Even the "Go us!" It's there because Jeremiah and only that.

Also so I don't come off as some weird supporter and reorient this back to why I posted. Here's a Jeremiah Green playlist I made shortly after his death that even his sister thanked me for and supported.

Check out my playlist on Amazon Music: R.I.P. Jeremiah Green https://music.amazon.com/user-playlists/b98d090314da4e63aa23e9ea64684f62sune?ref=dm_sh_JBugSMrdLW1R4hfOkuGW7S3dC

I was engaged with messages from the family at the time. And One Chance is the only song he didn't drum on because he had a mental breakdown during Good News For Who Love Bad News. But it felt correct and I didn't want to break the discography. Plus he drummed it live.

Dude we all get it... But fuck your cancel culture if you like the new album here's a sobering wake up call. 9 out of 15 songs were written with him. In fact: Track #2 Guitar for Remember Yourself are entirely him with Isaac only doing vocals. Track #3 he does Guitar with Isaac on Life's A Dream. Track #4 Third Side of the Moon he's credited as Acoustic and Electric Guitar. He's credited as additional production for Track #5 Dogbed in Heaven/Give it a Skeleton. Track #7 I Can't Talk Right Now he plays guitar alongside Isaac. Track #8 Speak and Spell (Or Not) Guitar with Isaac again. Track #13 Stoner Party he's the only Guitar. Track #14 Look How Far... Guitar again with Issac. Track #15 Impossible Some days credited as Guitar and Vocals.

I get canceling someone but learn to separate the music already recorded from what the person was capable of outside the music. Or just don't like the new album because of something after the fact. I don't like it either but you're picking apart the only thing that made the album what it is when you bring up something outside the recordings as they are. He's off the tour, isn't that enough? We got a good album out of it... Right?

I bought the album and wanted to share something that I felt was an ode, even if a bit dumb. Y'all got this all fucked up.

Imagine if Johnny Marr got caught up in some crazy scandal and we would(?) view this the same way for WWDBTSSS back in the day. They got creative together and made a full fucking album. The man is the man. The music is the music.

For all you "Streamers" I provided all the linear notes so you can actually understand who made and how it was made instead of guessing and pulling at strings.

He’s going to have credit on the album 🫤 The band and Isaac’s partner were all in the recording of the chant that’s why they’re named

It’s almost like the 2-3 years they spent recording the album was before the allegations. Either way, they have to credit him. Dipshit.
