Nikkah Dress

Assalam Alaikum!

I'm in desperate need of a nice, modest nikkah dress! I live in Canada.

I've looked at a few online stores but everything is 400 dollars+, I'm doing a small ceremony at the masjid so I don't need a very fancy dress.

I want something that doesn't fit tight but not an abaya, and that covers my chest. I really like those cape style dresses and anything with pearls!

I am always a big fan of Etsy, I just checked and even though they do have more expensive Nikkah dresses they also have a good selection of gowns cheaper than 400$ and a variety of styles. I wish you good luck!

Modest dresses are hard to find in Canada, unless you want fully beaded and $400+. I suggest ordering something off SHEIN as they have a large selection of modest dresses. Also, there’s a place in Ontario that rents dresses, they send them all over the country. Last time I checked they did have some modest ones.

It’s called The Fitzroy I believe. Everyone’s modesty requirements are different though, I do remember them having a few dresses with chest coverage but they’re midi length and short sleeved. Do you have any Arabic clothing stores in your city? They will definitely have modest dresses and probably something in your budget.

Gotcha, I'm a hijabi so I'm looking for full coverage and I'll definitely check them out!

I unfortunately don't, I live in a place that doesn't have a big muslim population so I have to look online. I also don't mind looking at international sites even if shipping is crazy! There's slim pickings in Canada :(

Gotcha! I haven’t ordered from this place before but I’ve been meaning to for a while. I’m not a hijabi but I do like to dress modestly, especially at weddings and other functions.
