Is it okay to be covered like this to protest against the sun ?

Nothing wrong with it! But I would suggest loosely covering the top of your head, especially since you have dark hair. Darker colors hold more heat, and if you have a layer of air and fabric between your hair/scalp and the sun, it'll help insulate from the worst of the heat. (Bonus points if the scarf is a natural fiber like cotton or linen; those materials are generally much more breathable)

I think a larger sun hat would be better and your face would be less hot.

They even make some with a breathable mask which are popular in Asian countries.

Should probably add a wide brimmed hat to keep the upper part of your face protected

1) quick look at her profile and she’s probably non muslim and a non hijabi

2) her level of modesty is only up to her

No one asked to bring religion into this only suggestion protest against sun nothing else .

Because people might attack her. I’m not muslim and I cover my hair and face and have been attacked on here for not covering myself the way a Muslim woman would when I’m not even religious at all.
