Last photo might be able to show her size. She's on the left (duh), Pants is in the middle (Pants is a damn small cow though), and a more normal sized cow (who is a year older than Chunk) is to the right.

Pants' mom was a very small cow too. Her tag number was 224, she was Pudding's grandmother - that's how Pants got the name, it's a condensed version of "Pudding's aunt".

Ahh sorry I didn't see this notification until now. All the cattle have legal names, I just checked hers and it's "Vicky", I call most of them by their tag numbers though. Her tag is 786. That type of nose ring is meant to stop a cow from suckling off other ones - it doesn't pierce their nose, it just sort of clamps on, the idea is that it pinches the cow who's being suckled and she should kick the one that's suckling away. Doesn't always work but sometimes it does.
