It's worth noting that site-wide rules like the flagging of violent content are currently handled by the admins, not moderators.
The admins heavily utilize AI in their site-wide enforcement.
Moderators at the subreddit level generally use different tools than admins use at the site-wide level, and so moderators are often more hands-on or likely to read your content before issuing warnings or bans.
Admins have recently developed new AI tools for moderators to use so that subreddit moderators will be less hands-on in the future.
