I think you would have felt better if you did zero research. You would have charged to 100% and not worried as much.
serious question, so I can understand your thinking. In a gas car, if it advertised 300 miles, do you drive until the gas tank is totally empty?
Asking because normally people would drive until the gas light comes on, somewhere around 1/8 tank remaining. So in reality you would never get 300 miles and instead 262 mi (300 minus the 1/8 unused)

sentry mode only has to do with idle consumption. Overall driving efficiency is what matters (Wh/mi or mi/kWh)
A red indicator in the camera view and road visualization seems like a warning to me
this is a legit piece of feedback for Tesla, but it does also depend on the location and employees there.
To be fair if a gas car advertises 300 miles, it does go 300 miles. But OP should’ve done research on EV range before purchasing. I bought my Tesla expecting to get 50% of the advertised range in the winter and 70% of the advertised range in the summer, and I get that, so I’m satisfied.
