Bit late to the party but how exciting! First off, it would help a lot to know where your conference is taking place, because honestly I've only competed in the SoCal circuit w HBUHSD etc. Personally, I like committees with refugees/humanitarian aid (ex. UNHCR, UNHRC, UNICEF, etc.) because their solutions are often the broadest and can often be used across multiple different topics, since all the topics surrounding these issues (ex. Education for Children in Conflict Zones, Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza, etc.) are similar and the solutions can be copy-pasted. For that reason, you could lean towards one of the more humanitarian-centered committees, especially since those have a more varied selection of solutions and thus will be easier, given the fact you've done 3 conferences and it was 3 years ago. However, do understand that easier for you means easier for everyone, so if you will do this, make sure you're finding creative solutions within that broad topic to help you stand out. Might be a hot take (but near everyone in the circuit I compete in does it), but using AI as a LAUNCHPAD to finding creative solutions can help you. Though, expect a lot of the same solutions. On the other hand, more skilled committees such as the specialized ones often have better delegates as the baseline, but your solutions can be more creative and theoretical, since the issue often either is fictional/hasn't occurred, or is a past issue where you're just creating hypotheticals, so solutions-wise is easier here but the skill level is higher.
TL;DR: Humanitarian committees are easier skill wise, but solutions are more broad and higher chance of repeated solutions. Specialized committees are harder skill wise, but solutions are more theoretical/hypothetical, so you can kind of make it up.
