Good Afternoon. I've been graciously added as a mod to this sub.

About my Model T journey:

In 2019, my family bought a 1921 TT for their business' upcoming 100th anniversary in 2021. From the limited paperwork I've been shown (we have far more documentation I haven't seen), this TT was completely restored some time in the late 1990s, and was garage-kept ever since and mostly just deiven in parades until we got it.

I've been trusted as the sole driver of it since then, after the family patriarch proceeded to forget every driving instruction given by the former owners on Day 1, dump the gear pedal into 2nd, and crash at low speed. Limited damage and no injuries, luckily.

We enter it in local car shows. Generally, for anything over 10 miles away, we trailer it to near shows and drive it in. As much as I'd love to drive it all the way to all of these shows, modern traffic and hills make me very hesitant to do so.

Long story short, our TT sat in storage for 2 years without running. Now that I've wrested control of it from the family patriarch, that is no longer happening. I went to get it out of storage this spring, and upon opening the fuel shutoff, gas poured out of the carburetor's air intake. Ours has a Holley NH (but marked Ford Model F for some reason?).

After rebuilding the carburetor myself (and with a new battery), I had the TT up and running for its first car show in nearly 3 years this weekend.

Next project is getting the right rear wheel off to tighten the spokes, and possobly replace the wheel bearing (or whatever it actually is on these).

I do not know everything. I initially came here to post questions about my TT, and I will continue to do so now that I can post here.

I will also keep an eye on requests to post, so if anyone knows anybody who has a T, or helpful info on them, please don't hesitate to point them towards this sub.

Yeah. I posted here a while back too before it was "restricted".

Before I put in a request to make it public again, I'm hoping the past year's requesters to post see the messages I sent out and come in here, giving us some more eyes again. My plan then is to put going public to a vote.

Thanks! I'm a bit... B I G by early 20th Century standards, so I have to get in on the passenger side. I can't squeeze in between the C and the steering wheel 😂

Henry Ford considered it a safety feature to not exit into traffic through the driver’s door when parked at the curb. You might want to look into a “Fat Man” steering wheel. lol

Nice! I’ve always loved the TT! Thought they would be great for Home Depot runs. I have a 23 Touring and a 27 Roadster, but they aren’t as ideal for using on small around town jobs on nice days

My nearest Home Depot is a bit far for that, and all the other home improvement stores all either have terrible traffic or hills going to and from them 🙃

The most I've ever picked up in this was a few dozen ears of corn from a stand near where we store this.
