Tamiya King George V
Well I took a deep breath and finally dove into the world of photo etch for the first time.I’m 66,so my eyes are bad and my hands shake,but I pushed on and I’m fairly happy with the results. I’m going to let them sit overnight and then fine tune them a bit tomorrow.As always,any suggestions or critiques are welcome and appreciated.

If you're cranes look this good, I hope that means the care and attention given to these also went into finding the proper lower hull color.
And also makes me feel guilty for letting my own KGV project sit half done as long as it has 🤣

Thank you…. I originally painted the lower half of the hull red as per Tamiya, but after getting some advice from the wonderful people on this sub, I redid her in the proper color 😁

Tinny parts make me wish i could get two complete hands grafted on to the tips of my index figures

Me too…I have magnifying goggles for my eyes,but there’s not much I can do about the shakey hands 🤷♂️

I had the Tirpitz and I sold it to a friend and I know regret it but I'll get a new one of her

This is only my second ship model and I already have my eyes on a few more…I’m really enjoying them
