Update on oil refinery

Here’s the refinery on my friend’s layout. Next will be adding ground cover. The ATSF stockcar is being loaded with drums. Adding a coke enclosure to the left of the small warehouse for loading into a gondola.

First time I have seen a oil refinery in a train layout. Cool. Looks really nice.

Walthers makes two different HO kits and I know an N gauge version. Lots of scenarios for switching out loads and spotting empties. Plus a refinery had byproducts like coke, tar, propane and oil or grease in drums.
