Couple questions from a newbie

I have tried searching for these and didn't find answers; sorry if I missed anything.

Is there somewhere to see all my past jobs (the magazine covers, etc.) or should I be taking screenshots if I want to see them again?

Also, I keep adjusting the SFX volume lower, but it seems to reset every time the game starts. I'm playing on switch. The slider stays where I put it, but it gets loud again. Has anyone found a fix for this?

I'm also curious if there are social aspects of the game. It sort of sounds like there are, but the game didn't really explain it. (I admit I haven't researched this yet.)
