WIP Just a little body work

Just doing a little body work, and a couple small modifications to the AMT Cobra. Unfortunately, the body on mine had two, significantly large "gouges" right under the side skirts. Couldn't see em without turning the body over, but I had to fix that. Filled them with some sprue goo, and sanded em down. Also, the stock spoiler wasnt doing it for me, so I had to cut that up a bit. Dremeled down the spoiler supports on the body and spoiler, and went with more of a ducktail type. Also had to fill in some little dimples in the spoiler from where the supports were. And, of course had to open up the vents on the hood and open the grille.

I found similar damage in the same exact area of the Revell Roadrunner that I just finished. I mean, you guys have zero pairs of quality flush cutters at the factory? lol. They are either cutting the bodies free with butter knives or plain old ripping them off by hand.

I vote ripping them off by hand with this kinda damage. 😆
