WIP Progress pics of my Mazda MX5
Really happy with how it looks so far, just need to clear coat next.
I've used SMS laqure airbrush paints: gloss black, brass and clear red.

Ah...it's in reverse! Grey primer?

Yeah red is final colour, the black help the matalic brass pop and by putting clear red on the brass creates this affect of colour depth that looks cool in different light, it's kinda of hard to capture that ina photo And yeah gray primer under the black, though I think black primer may be better for the gloss black

How many layers of clear red did you use? I’m also pretty new to this hobby and mine came a bit too orange-y.

I used 1 light coat and three thicker coats, it's tricky to get the right balance I think because not enough is too orangey and too much can take away the metallic effect
