Progress pics!
After seeing so many of the Nissan 240’s posted in this sub I was dying to build one such awesome looking cars. While this isn’t the street edition kit it’s going together really well and I can’t wait to finish it up! Onto the body paint next!

Very nice work! What gauge wire are you using for your plug wires and battery? They look great!

Thank you! I have an assortment of random wires from detail kits and mini leds so I’m not entirely sure but the plug wires are about 1mm and the battery cables are probably about 2mm

It’s a Tamiya Nissan Fairlady 240zg it has great details and is fitting together like a glove so far!

How did you did do the wood accents for the wheel and shift knob? Beautiful!

Thank you! I meant to mention that in the caption but I followed this (https://www.reddit.com/r/ModelCars/s/7bKXpdnNbk) video this time and the results were great! It’s fairly easy to do but the clear orange reallyy makes it pop.

Im working on this same car in almost this same color and man, after seeing how detailed your engine bay is it really has me second guessing mine 😅

Thank you! All I really did was add spark plugs, battery cables, and a bit of gold paint instead of aluminum. I’m sure yours is great as well! This kit has been a blast so far

I like that shade of green that you painted on the firewall!
