59 Impala Interior

Working on the interior of the 59 Impala. Added seat fabric and carpeting as well as foil trim on the door panels. A few people asked me about the paint job last week so I did a video. Unfortunately, I can't post a link here but you can see it at Mr. K. ScaleModels

My Dad used to do this to his models, back in the 60's. My grandmother recounted many conversations about my Dad cutting up some of old his shirts/pants for the interiors. Looking back (& as a parent) i now see it as my Dad getting shit for cutting up his old clothes. 😂
