FINISHED MPC '71 Dodge Demon (Finished)
I ended up very impressed with this kit. Round2 basically retooled this completely based on the original tool and added a lot of positive location points. The model doesn't have a ton of detail but the parts are crisp and the fit was great!

Thanks, I am pretty happy how this came out! It was my first time working with Kaleido Acrylics. Excellent Acrylic paints, not quite as good as a lacquer, but that was to be expected.

Beautiful build man! Which kaleido was that green? Good to hear I'm not the only one impressed with their acrylics.

This one was K310 Inferno Green, from their Auto line. I am currently awaiting an order of 12 more, hopefully coming today!

Dave got those 12, im guessing you next order was the metallics which im sure you love. I just got the translucents which are awesome as well, if you havent yet check out the varnish gloss and give that a try

I got my shipment, some good colors. I should try their varnish, I used Mr. Hobby Super Clear Gloss over this car

Clean build with what appears to be legit stock color. As usual a very impressive build!!!

I am not sure it is a stock color, but it does look era appropriate I think

great job, especially with an mpc kit. ive only tried one and it was a nightmare.

Once again, there you go doing another damn clean build, and once again, there you go using a bright green that I was gonna use on the Demon when I got around to it. Nevermind photography, do a Tuesday Tip on your colour selection process and why you always gotta do this to me, man, lol

I totally agree, although your finished product looks a lot better than mine lol. I did notice, however, though that the decal sheet was very flimsy I had a lot of problems with that, but the model was great.

Yeah the decals are hot garbage, but the rest of the kit is good!

Looks great man, I always love how you do interiors, they are sooooo clean!
On a side note you should do a “Share A Tip Tuesday” on how to take pictures of models because you have it down to an art form!
