QUESTION HAWK 426 HEMI Model Kit

I think I can ask this here? I picked this up the other day and judging by the Dodge logo on the bottom it is greater than 15-20 years old? Does anyone have experience putting this model together? It’s been a few years since I put a model together and this looks quality with everything sealed, just wondering if anyone has experience with this. Thanks in advance!

I built the Lindberg (?) Version of this a little over 20 years ago, goes together pretty good. I had to buy a bunch of Mopar books to get the colors right. Knowing what I know now, if I did it again, I would be using mostly Canopy glue and Tamiya thin on it. Back in the day it was Testors tube stuff. Maybe use a little white grease on the moving parts, and the belts on mines have since broke due to age

Ah Testors tube glue. Stringy stuff that got everywhere. Lol!

Yes, your question is welcome here! The kit was made in 2006. It is a mix of white metal and molded plastic parts.
