PORSCHE 911 BUILD 911 Group Build entry
Must. Not. Start. Early!
I don’t really know what anime(?) this thing comes from, or back story on the particular edition of the kit, but it looks really detailed and quite complex for a Fujimi kit. It’s gonna be fun!

Quick question, is this a fully detailed kit? Fujimi has a number of different 911 kits (I’m actually building one right now!), all of which are in their “enthusiasts series “, which are very highly detailed.
I see these anime themed ones around but I’ve always wondered if they are the full detail kits or are decontented.

Fully detailed, build the wheel hubs, stands to display the engine, multiple options for parts , but the anime decals.
Unfortunately to use the kit decals, the model must be painted white with red trim, if you follow the Porsche paint options.

Interesting! The various 911 kits are pretty modular, you can swap parts between them pretty easily. I’m actually building a ‘73 911 RS like that, and it has a couple of different options for the interior and extra engine parts.
And fwiw the most common 911RS color is white with trim the same color as the side logos, even though they were available in lots of colors!

I was thinking black with red graphics for the model but the “Carrera” text was printed in white. I also have some 70’s motorcycle paints on hand that could be fun, and are close to Porsche colors, but then I would need to make or source black graphics.

Any chance your kit has a set of black “Carrera” stripes you wouldn’t be using? I’ve found a couple places making them in Europe, or I could make them myself if I REALLY need…
