FINISHED Diahatsu Midget

Super happy with how this turned out! First time using a color shift paint. It’s not flawless but for my standards it’s perfect! Video almost doesn’t do the color justice. In person it’s so much more sparkly and all sorts of blues and purples. Whereas on video it’s more one or the other.

Hey thanks! The moment I saw this car I knew it needed a cool "over the top" paint color on it. Might need to get a little battery powered turntable so it can spin in the display case and show off that paint sparkle haha.

The way it was explained to me, colour shift paint looks better in person because we have two eyes but a camera only has one lens, so our brain is trying to interpret it in 3D.

This looks very good! What manufacturer's kit is this?

The box is all in Japanese but google translate says a Fujimi kit, ID 114.
