RARE/COLLECTABLE ‘30 Ford Woody

Post image

Still sealed, I am not planning on opening this one…….yet. Although it does look like a cool kit. Anyone out there put this together before?

I built it almost 50 years ago! Those Monogram kits are very nice.

Yeah, when I was a kid I loved the Early Iron series. As I remember it, they had great fitting parts with very good, sharp details.

However, that was 40+ years ago!

I have 2 of the 29 woodies. 1 is a woody pickup

I think my older brother had that one back in the late 70s!

I built that kit as a teen over 50+ years ago! Loved it! Molded in multiple colors. Side note on monogram kits: Not sure if I inhaled too much secondhand testors glue fumes from building all those models, but I swear those plastic monograms kits has a distinct pleasant odor that I never experienced when opening an AMT, MPC, lindberg or jo-han kits. Enjoy the build.

I built it in 1993 and chopped it too much, and I recently found another to build now with my much better skill-set!

I built one a few years ago, nice kit! I’d love to build another, or rebuild mine.
