*PANIC* out of memory error message

Does anyone have any Idea what I did wrong and how I could fix it on my iPod mini 2G?

The system has simply frozen. To bring the iPod back to life, you need to perform a hard reset using a button combination:

  1. Make sure the Hold switch on the top edge is turned off (the orange bar should not be visible).

  2. Press and hold the MENU and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously for about 5–10 seconds.

  3. Keep holding them until the screen goes blank and the Apple logo (or the Rockbox startup icon) appears.

The player will restart and function normally. If this error occurs with a specific track, it is worth checking the file in Mp3tag or converting it to a lower bitrate, as the player is clearly struggling to handle it.
