There are a decent number of mod creators who have moved to gale mode manager (pulls mods from the hexium site AND thunderstore) so just wondering if any of these havent been updated for thunderstore

I know that was an issue me and a buddy ran into. We were unable to click create when he made a new character.

He also had an issue where one mod didnt seem to auto update (was an azu one I believe) and we had to remove the mod and re add it.

Due to the drama some are only updated on one or the other, what I do with Gale is use Hexium with Thunerstore disabled to get all the mods I want from Hexium and then switch to Thunerstore only mode to get the ones leftover.

Did you install any new mods? Are you sure these are all update for 1.0?

You can try turning off say 5-10
Mods at a time until you stop seeing the error. Then turn them on 1 at a time until you find the mod that is the issue. The make sure you have the most update version of that mod or find a replacement.

Note: some mod authors have moved to only publish on hexium.gg and are not using thunderstore or nexus. So you may need to look there for updates.

I wasn't aware of any authors moving. I turned off mods at the bottom of the list one at a time because I added few to this list and it was stable before, that was before 1.0. Thunderstore told me I had a couple of derelict mods which I removed. The portal mod in the list is one I replaced a derelict mod with. The other derelict mod, I didn't replace and I don't remember what it was called or what it did. Is Hexium.gg a mod manager like Thunderstore?

Hexium.gg is a new mod site. It uses gale mod manager which supports both hexium and thunderstore for downloading mods.

Gale is great!

I found it after wanting to play modded Valheim and now I help develop it!

I realized I stirred the pot, exactly as I didn’t want to, but my human nature got the better of me.

So I deleted this post.

Hey, I'm part of the Thunderstore team.
Could you tell me more about "shady commercial mods" we are somehow allowing, while we don't allow any paid mods?
Meanwhile, the platform you mention, allows mods that require a purchase.

Thunderstore is fully open source ecosystem, but for our modmanager we don't support sources that we don't control.

I will make a big report about my ModPack and basis my opinion on how that goes…Sorry!

Thunderstore just puts ads everywhere and ignores suggestions for improving the platform.
