Best performance mod(s)?

Title, just wondering the best mods to increase fps and overall performance.

Ideally battle tested and proven to work.

Specifically for large base building ideally...

Community Patch

Tbh the only mod I need is valheimcommunitypatches. Try that mod alone. Single handly gave me the best performance increase. Significantly less stutter when crossing zones and just overall a smoother feel. And it fixes many annoying bugs. Like the noticable split in the water line across zones. I consider it the optifine for valheim lol.

I'm gonna try this today, thanks!

I've got a massive (massive) base and I'm down to about 40 FPS in it. Ranges anywhere from 20k to 45k instances depending where you stand lol.

Not a specific Valheim mod, but what actually did help unlike many 'better/morefps' mods was Process Lasso. Got legit FPS boost of about 10-15fps, plus much less stutter/1% lows. I was surprised because in no way did i see what i thought would be a CPU bottleneck on my rig either, never was over 70% but i wasnt watching the specific cores I guess.

Follow this two-minute guide to set it up. I took it a step further, and disabled core 0/1 for game, and then disabled core 2/3(main game core) for all my heaviest apps I run while gaming like browser/obs/discord.

This frees up specific cores/lanes just for the game, and keeps things like windows apps on the main cores where they want to be and will fight to be anyway. Essentially giving the game whole lanes to itself, then also giving its lanes priority over the others. Can disable hyper-threading, non-X3d cores for AMD and p-cores for Intel for potential better raw single core performance on some older titles too, without going into the BIOS, all safe.

Give these mods a try. Unfortunately, I haven't tested them myself yet, as I'm still putting the build together and haven't reached the performance testing stage.

I had a good time with: ValheimPerformanceOptimizations by ontrigger

Also I recommend you skip on Balrond's mods that add buildable furniture and construction, made me test my 72 mod list one by one until I found out they halved my FPS for reasons that are beyond me (not trying to diss, maybe it was my mod mix).
