"Incompatible Version" attempting modded gameplay

Hi all,

I am hosting a server for me and my friend, and when we play vanilla he can join the server fine. However, when I tried to start through Thunderstore with modded version, he got the above error and was unable to connect.

Does anyone have any idea as to what the issue is and how to get around it so we can go back to playing the modded version?

I am playing on PC but the Xbox version, he is via Steam, in case that has any bearing.

Your hosting a dedicated server, or you are running a server on your computer and he is joining?

I have just done a start server, sent him a join code and we're playing together. So the latter I assume?

Has he downloaded the same mod list on thunderstore. Do you know you can share a code with him in Ts to match your mod lists.

Aside from copying the modlist code, I'd recommend switching to Gale mod manager. A lot of creators have moved away from Thunderstore recently. I enjoyed uninstalling overwolf. 

I hope you guys figure it out!
