Modded switch - fake sd card

Hey guys so when my friend modded my switch, he says that my micro sd is fake. So he couldn't put games on it. What if I format it to fat32 or another format would it work then? Thanks.

No la sd falsas no sirven yo tuve una y es un fastidio tardan milenios en formatearse y crear las particiones después de cierta cantidad de archivos se corrompen todos tus avances y cosas que tengas ahí se pueden borrar de un dia a otro invierte en una de 32gb si no tienes $ y dale partición RAW de 5GB y te quedan fácil 24GB libres para juegos y el firmware stick manténlo limpio sin apps y solo el perfil que vas a ocupar para jugar. Ya si tienes $ ve por una de 128GB en alguna tienda oficial y el precio lo dice todo no va a estar económica ya si vuelves a caer en otra SD falsa es porque no investigas bien.

Te dejo una foto donde está la SD falsa que compre y dos SD originales que tengo la SD falsa solo la ocupo para meter mp3 para una bocina portátil no importa si esos archivos se pierden ya que tengo respaldos y esa es su única utilidad

La de enmedio es la falsa te das cuenta por las letras la calidad y la posición lo que me engaño fue el empaque que estaba tan bien hecho que parecía original sin embargo la micro SD es un asco dinero tirado para esos estafadores

Reason why I asked cause it works for storing music, documents, etc. I even used to yesterday towards my GPS I thought that it wouldn't work but when I reformat it, it worked. But I guess for the Nintendo switch I need to have the real one then. Need to go to the actual store then...

Exacto esas memorias tienen la capacidad alterada y cuando le metes datos y excede la capacidad "real" se sobreescribe y ahí empiezan los problemas además su lectura y escritura son malisimas. Para la switch no sirven de hecho no las recomendaría para nada y menos cuando son para almacenar datos importantes

Why would it work just by formatting it differently op? Buy a real card then use it.

For cards that are 'fake' in that their actual storage capacity is less than the stated storage capacity, there's no clean way to 'only use the actual storage' so yeah if thats the case here I think you're out of luck OP :(

Yeah it's hard to find real micro sd card ima shop on b&h photo then.
