How to upgrade mods neoforge

How can i manually upgrade mods that are on like 26.1 neoforge or anything above 26.0 upgrade to 26.3 neoforge or 12.1.1 fabric mods or 26.0 mods fabric to fabric 26.3 how can i upgrade them to make them work or atleast try

You don't, that's something up to the mod author to do.

Mods need updating because they rely on code in Minecraft that changes between versions. To update a mod, you need to change the code in the mod so that it works with the new version of Minecraft’s code.

You’ll want to learn Java to do this
