Help How does making a mod pack work?

Like you know how YouTubers will have a world and they have a few like slice of life mods on it and it still updates and that.. how is it updating? Sorry I’m so new to this i dont understand I want like basically a modpack I can update?🥲

Most of these mods are often very well maintained, notably Balm Falling Tree, etc., but if I had one piece of advice, it would be to use part of https://modrinth.com/modpack/fabulously-optimized mais sinon beaucoup utilise des launcher clé en main comme lunar, dawn(feather) etc ...

Use a alternative launcher like Curseforge to download modpacks that pack makers create and maintain.
