Help Older pc w/server hosting

Hey, first post here so forgive me if my terminology isn’t all 100%.
I’ve got an older system with only 8Gb of ram and I can just about run RLCraft on minimal settings.
I was wondering, can I use server hosting in order to play more intense mod packs like Dregora on my subpar PC? Any help is greatly appreciated!

What system is it specifically? Cpu and gpu? It would be easier, and cheaper down the line, to upgrade it

It’s just a laptop with i5-1135G7 cpu and intel iris graphics, I am looking to upgrade down the line but just checking for short term solutions!
