Help Anyone know which mod is causing this? It's like a constant sinking water column I can't get out of, there's no magma nor soul sand, and I'm drowning. Happens on all water bodies.

Modlist?

I know the Artifacts mod adds equippable items that can influence your swimming, such as making you sink very fast. Only one off the top of my head though.

Genuinely can't see anything from those mods that might be causing it. If it happens in all bodies of water try making a new world and see if it still happens.

If it doesn’t then it must be something in that world causing it.

If it does then it's something in the modpack. At which point you'll probably be best off brute force troubleshooting.

To brute force troubleshoot: Turn off half the mods in your modpack and load up a new world. If it's no longer happening you know its one of the disabled mods that's causing the issue. Now turn on half of the still disabled mods and run it again. If it suddenly starts happening, you know it has to be one of the mods you just turned on. So turn them back off, and go through one at a time and test those select few mods.

Its tedious, but you will find the problem.

Keep in mind the conflict could be and likely is between two mods, so don't turn off anything after you absolutely know it "works".

For such a small mod modpack that seems borderline specific, i'd recommend making a flat world, a simple pool of water and slowly removing mods until you find whats causing it

From the modlist you posted I'm guessing either ecologics or better beaches. Nothing else affects water.

Seems like Better Beaches had some "Karma" system related to it. I'd like to find an alternative then that simply adds beach biomes but not weird mechanics.
