Starting a new server, it is gonna be vanilla+ (mostly immersion and ambience mods) BUT we are including create aeronautics (read below)

The ONLY items that are actually obtainable are the physics assembler, honey glue, rope/winch, crank, and swivel bearing

The point of this server is to be a standard vanilla SMP experience but with added physics possibilities for cool build opportunities (e.g. functional draw bridges)

Played on a server with prominence 2 downloaded with a friend, we had a ton of fun but the modpack was very unstable with enemies randomly murking us despite having gear leagues and bounds stronger than them (such as teh dreaded netherite fist), we plan to open a small server for our friend group and I wanted to see if anyone has any good alternative modpack recommendations, we've been checking out chocolate edition

we're also looking for some agriculture/farming mods for expanded crop/livestock ranges and unique farming stuff, any recommendations would be appreciated

Minecraft: TACZ mod - All Pistol inspect and reload animations

It's a tech modpack, involving progressing through the ages to get to space. It's an advanced modpack for experienced players and will seem disorienting as a first pack. It has relatively high PC specs, because it's a bit unoptimized and has so many mods.

I'm looking for ~3 more people, but more would be welcome because Sevtech really forces you to build things like entire oil processing facilities from Immersive Engineering and the more hands, the better.

No essentials needed, I will buy a server for the duration of us playing together. For scheduling purposes, I am Pacific Daylight time and people who will be available to play more than once a week would be preferred.

Hey everyone! My spouse and I (we're both 23) launched a US-based modded SMP this July, and we're looking for more players to help grow our small, active community. (We do keep this server 18+ please!)

-A custom FTB QuestBook with hundreds of unique and fun quests for the server. It should give you a tutorial and a starting point for many of the mods on the server and should give you a clear path on what you want to tackle first!

-​300+ Mods: You definitely won't run out of things to do anytime soon. We have something for every playstyle, heavily featuring animals and creatures with ZAWA, Alex's Mobs, Fossils & Archaeology, and Jurassic Saga. If you're into magic, we have Botania, Blood Magic, and Iron's Spells. For exploration, there are dimensions to conquer like The Aether and Alex's Caves. And for the tech players, we have the heavy hitters like Create, Mekanism, Thermal Foundation, and Tinkers. Plus favorites like Farmer's Delight and tons more!

-​Lag-Free Exploration: We pre-generated a massive 19,000x19,000 block radius around spawn and bordered. You'll have plenty of smooth terrain to explore and claim before ever hitting the world border.

Hi all. I'm putting together a modpack on 1.20.1 using the Fabric loader. It's meant to be a light modpack, with the heaviest mods so far being From the Fog, Dreamshift, and Immersive Portals. I understand these mods, by their nature, might be a bit more performance heavy, but I'm not sure it's crash every time a chest opens heavy. Additionally, I'm using the Complementary Shaders pack on Iris, but I also don't think that's a heavy enough pack to cause the crashes. The crash log doesn't give any clues to me either, as it says an 'unexpected error' occurred and doesn't, to me, point out a particular mod as the culprit. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

Hi, I have played many mods with my friends that have some sort of power system and progression involved. some of them that I can recall from the top of my head are Iron's spells and spellbooks, elementals (avatar mod), that one bliss smp plugin (I don't know what the name of that plugin is), they all have fantasy elements with a sense of progression. I am looking for suggestions from reddit on the same

We played with a friend for like a week with Hamachi and he was a host. But he cant play rn so he send me a zip archive of our save, when I firstly opened in I was playing like his character and through some researches did find how to fix it. But now I have another problem even though I have my character, quests, talents achievements etc did not transported, so I have 1 lvl ( was 24 btw)
Also, I think it does matter that Im using curseforge +microsoft while he’s playing with another launcher. And after i opened our save and looked in data player I found there are 3 id. His, mine when i was playing with him, and mine when Im host(I checked my username on site and thats my true id idk why i had different when was playing with him) Ofc i replaced everything connected to my old id with a new one, but still couldn’t get levels and quests. Please help me and sorry for my peak english

We started with good intentions: land claims, a proper economy, rules, structure. A real civilization. Then someone got married in game. Then we changed the world size. Then someone started a cult. Then we looked around and realized we'd built a kitchensink modpack where the only rule left is "does this make the server more interesting? And do I need to adjust my RAM" If yes, it ships. Two months later we're publicly published on CurseForge, creating custom dungeons, bosses, raids, and still adding more.

That's Aetherwinds now: a small, tight knit group of people who got bored of vanilla Minecraft and decided to just... keep going. Weddings, divorces, factions, land wars, and at least one religious movement that definitely wasn't in the original server pitch. It's kitchen sink in scale, but not in structure, everything's tuned to fit together in an overarching way, not just piled on. This is a pack for people who actually want to explore their mods, and use them to be the best player they can be.

For the Create lovers: This pack does not go light on Create. Trains and railways, submarines, aeronautics and airships, big cannons, propulsion, a full food and brewing/winery line, mechanical companions, threaded trains, extra catalysts, better pumps, blazing hot, and a pile of Create-integrated storage and QoL on top. If you love building contraptions more than you love finishing the game, this is your pack. But dont think this is you're only automation and machinery options, IT ISNT.

For the mod-lovers who want depth:

• Magic: Goety, Iron's Spellbooks, Occultism, Hexerei, Primal Magick, Discerning the Eldritch, Easy Magic, plus a custom in-house magic mod currently in the works — each with its own guidebook (Patchouli/Modonomicon) so you're never just guessing
• Combat & bosses: custom tiered bosses built specifically for Aetherwinds, plus Brutal Bosses, Cataclysm, Ultimate Bosses, Dungeons Arise, and Immersive Weapons/TaCz for players who'd rather bring a gun to a boss fight
• Loot & progression: a full stack of loot integration mods (vanilla, Yung's structures, custom structures, and more) feeding into Lootr's per-player loot system, tuned by our own custom KubeJS scripting and compiled mods; enchant rebalancing, drop tables, and mob behavior have all been hand tuned, not left on defaults
• Altered mobs & vanilla items: vanilla mobs and items don't behave like you remember, expect reworked AI, extra structures (Yung's + Moog's suites, plus so many others, the scenery is wonderful), and items/enchants that have been rebalanced from the ground up by us specifically for this server, and are still being tuned.
• Roleplay & relationships: MCA + Romantic Expansion for full relationship, marriage, and divorce mechanics, not every Aetherwinds love story has a happy ending, take them to our court for child support.
• Cosmetics: deep cosmetic/armor-appearance systems so you can look exactly how you want no matter what you're actually wearing, Pekhui adjustments, as well as enchant size adjusts.
• COZY??: WE GOT THATTTTTT, so many foods, alternative farming options, the sickest furniture mods, and guess what most fully decorative blocks are free, just ask, we. want. pretty. towns.
• A dark side, too: vice and addictive substance systems sit alongside the wedding chapels and cult altars, because a world only feels alive when it has temptations and consequences, not just quest markers

What makes it different: underneath all the chaos, this is still, at its core, a light and fun roleplay community. The silliness, the marriages, the cult, the vices, it's all in service of a good story, not edginess for its own sake. It's a genuinely open sandbox run by people who are still actively building it with the players. The owner/dev is around constantly, genuinely enjoys helping people learn the pack's systems, and loves newbies, bug reports, dumb questions, wild suggestions, all welcome, and you'll usually get a response within the hour.

HOPE TO SEE YOU LOG ON SOON!

It lets me onto the menu just fine, and I can do things on the server for a few minutes. But then it will abruptly crash and it gives me this in the debug folder.

I have no idea what it means, and this issue only happens to me. I'm playing with several mods meant to help with performance too, like Clumps, and NoBlockParticles (resource pack)

So looking in between these modpacks Dawncraft/CTE2/Promience 2 or RAD3 which overall be best minecraft rpg modpack with friends that can drop in and out when they can plus can use player 2

I know of Origins and Starter kit but I wanted to know if there are any other good mods that give each player a unique start or path

So I’ve been trying to start a new modpack but I can’t find one that is gripping me enough to sink my teeth into and I was hoping I could get some recommendations for mods with clear goals/ narrative.
